Thank you for being patient! We're working hard on resolving the issue
When you travel, your events happen in different timezones. Lona can show each event in the timezone you were actually in — not a fixed home timezone.
Mark travel events with This is a flight and pick the timezone you're traveling to. Lona uses these transitions to segment your calendar: contiguous spans of days share the timezone you were in during that period. Days before your departure show in your origin timezone; days after your arrival show in the destination timezone.
To see this on your sheet, enable Personal Timezones in the time scale selector (the day-view settings). Your columns will shift to reflect your actual timezone at each point in time. Switch back to a fixed timezone anytime.
You can mark multiple events to build a full itinerary — Lona chains the transitions together automatically.
With Personal Timezones enabled, your day columns adapt:
If you have a round trip, mark the return flight too. The columns after your return will shift back to your home timezone.
Toggle This is a flight off on the event to remove the transition. The end time stays the same wall-clock moment but is interpreted in the departure timezone. Your sheet columns will adjust accordingly.
To keep the transitions but view everything in a fixed timezone, uncheck Personal Timezones in the time scale selector.
